The confectioner has plans for a chocolate factory in Skarbimierz

Cadbury Wedel will expand a plant in Wroc³aw and modernize its Warsaw factory

Cadbury Wedel will today officially open its € 100 million chewing gum plant in Skarbimierz.

And there is more good news, as the firm announced that it will spend a further € 250 million on a chocolate factory in the same city, expanding an existing plant in Wroc³aw and modernizing its Warsaw factory.

"The chewing gum factory was launched at the end of 2008. There are already 300 persons working here. Cadbury is continuously recruiting more staff," said Ruslan Kinebas, president of Cadbury Wedel.

The firm is also attracting suppliers, "We are in talks with several suppliers of packaging, which are also considering investing in Poland," said Ruslan Kinebas.
