Euro 2012 road issues
It is highly likely that the government will not fulfill its promise to deliver 700 km of new motorway and 2,100 km of expressway before the Euro 2012 soccer championship
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, many of the tenders have been postponed and lengthy procedures are bringing investments to a halt.
Despite the government’s promises, the Ministry of Infrastructure has managed to sign contracts for only 210 km of motorway so far, including Wroc³aw’s ring road, and 321 km of expressway with ring roads.
