Polish and Russian PMs meet in Davos
Donald Tusk and Vladimir Putin discussed mutual relations at the WEF
On Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk met his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The two leaders spoke about how to improve relations between Warsaw and Moscow, the anti-missile shield and the gas crisis. “I’m very pleased that we can meet and decide what to do in order to clear the path [to further improving our relations],” Putin told the
"I always emphasize that no matter how much information goes along with politics and how many difficult issues have occurred, we have managed to arrive to a point where the turnover of trade between our countries sets a record,” the Polish prime minister said after the meeting. “That means that people are wiser than politicians,” he added.
