Mass graves in Malbork
While excavating the grounds of an under-construction hotel in Malbork last year, workers made a gruesome discovery
The ensuing investigation has exhumed over 1,800 bodies from mass graves, it was revealed last week, and more are expected to be found. Forensic analysis has confirmed that the bodies are those of civilians, probably of German descent, missing since WWII.
