Three international consortia, each of them comprising stock-listed domestic enterprises, submitted price offers for the construction of the central section of the second line of the Warsaw metro and their proposals are close to zł.5 billion net.
The lowest bid was made by a consortium with PBG, Hydrobudowa Polska, PRG Metro, German Alpine Bau and Spanish FCC Construccion with its offer standing at zł.4.82 billion net.
The second offer of zł.4.9 billion was made by Mostostal Warszawa, Spanish Acciona Infraestructuras, Austrian Strabag, German Dywidag and PeBeKa. In turn the offer of Spanish Dragados, Pol-Aqua, Trakcja Polska and two other Spanish companies amounted to zł.5.1 billion.
The most positive feedback was for Mostostal Warszawa's offer, but the final decision has not been made yet and moreover it can be protested against.
The whole execution of the investment is also under threat as the anticipated budget of the investment stood at zł.3 billion.
