PSL want to step into the political spotlight with PO
Politicians of the Polish Peasants' Party (PSL), the coalition partner of the ruling Civic Platform (PO), announced that it is time for them to leave the shadows and become more visible in the media.
"When PO was playing politics and good PR, we were the ones dealing with administration of the country," claimed PSL representatives. Moreover, the politicians of PSL claimed that PO has been preparing a number of bills, which were never agreed upon in the coalition agreement, and puts pressure on PSL to withdraw from some of their ideas. To facilitate cooperation, the management of the parties' parliamentary clubs are to organize meetings on a monthly basis. PSL politicians claimed, despite their plans, that the coalition with PO is much easier than any other that they were in before.
