Voestalpine SSC Polska has received a permit to operate in the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ).

"We will invest EUR 19.5 (zł.77.7) million and to begin with we will employ 37 people. Within five years that number will increase to 80," said Voestalpine SSC Polska board member Wolfgang Neubauer. The company will build a metal-parts treatment plant. "The investment is planned to be launched later this month and will be completed in March 2007," added Justyna Romańczyk from KSEZ.
