Jobs boom
Land in the Special Economic Zones (SEZs), particularly in the western part of Poland, is rapidly being purchased for large investment projects.
As a result of legal changes in the functioning of three SEZs, investments worth a total of over zł.760 million should be carried out, creating in the region of 3,300 jobs. "Thanks to creating a sub-zone in Zielona Góra, a Polish investor from the timber industry will construct a new plant worth zł.160 million, which will employ 600 persons," said Artur Rosiak, a representative of the Kostrzyń-Słubice SEZ.
