During the first six months of this year, insurer Link4 managed to increase its portfolio by 85% and announced that this dynamic will be maintained.

In this period the company collected a gross contribution of zł.59.6 million. The net loss in H1 this year stood at zł.12.5 million, which is over zł.13 million less than just a year earlier. "The results are indicating that we are on the right path to executing our business assumptions. The second half of the year should be no different," said Link4 deputy president, Zofia Dzik. If the forecasts are achieved the contribution should stand by this year's end at zł.140 million and a net loss at zł.20 million. By the end of 2006 the insurer should manage to reach profitability. The results have been pushed further since April thanks to a new online sales channel. (Puls Biznesu, p. 8) A.K.
