Market rumors claim that Danish brewer Faxe will become a sector investor in brewer Brok Strzelec.

"I neither confirm nor deny. I do not want to talk about it," said Andrzej Tabor, president of Erste Securities Polska, which is searching for investor in Brok. A few months ago, the brewery announced that it would try and acquire a sector investor. "We are in negotiations with several entities. The investor will be chosen in March," said Adam Brodowski, president and the main shareholder in Brok Strzelec. A potential partner could be a company not present on the domestic market, but willing to enter it, which exactly matches the profile of Faxe. "We will see who will present a better offer," said Brodowski. If the rumors are confirmed, then the Danish company will no doubt try to strengthen the position of Brok in regional markets. Brok needs cash to run its daily operations as its current cash flows are still insufficient to cover them. (Puls Biznesu, pp. 1, 7) M.M.
