The National Prosecutor is currently investigating a case, submitted by Krzysztof Rutkowski, a Sejm Deputy and the country's most famous detective, concerning the alleged $10 million bribe handed over to Jerzy Jaskiernia, in return for a favorable gambling bill.

Rutkowski yesterday announced that he has evidence which brings new light into the connections between Jaskiernia and owners of gambling machines. The evidence in question, is a videotape which clearly shows Jaskiernia breaking the law. However, Rutkowski did not reveal any further details. The National Prosecutor, Karol Napierski, said that the evidence will definitely investigated, but neither he, nor the Justice Ministry, wanted to further comment on the matter.
